MY STORY
Dr Heidi Hand - Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist
I started my private practice in April 2020 at the very start of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Since then my practice has grown and I work solely in private practice offering online personalised therapy. Something very important to me is being able to offer flexible, personalised therapy while also utilising the most up to date research on therapy approaches. I truly love working with people to develop individualised treatments that help them achieve their goals for therapy and beyond.
I have over 15 years providing direct therapy for individuals with a range of mental health conditions. I have worked in both outpatient and inpatient mental health services as well as specialist Eating Disorders settings. I also have significant experience working in neurorehabilitation settings and supporting people living with neurological conditions. As well as providing direct therapy, I have have enjoyed working in senior management and leadership roles developing services and have learnt a lot about what individuals value from therapy services. I have used all of my experience to develop a therapy provision and approach that I am really proud of and I hope if you chose to access my services you will feel the same.
